Many buyers compare replacement fans only by size and voltage, but performance fit can matter too. Two of the most important terms are airflow and static pressure.
Airflow
Airflow usually matters when air can move freely through the system with low resistance.
Static Pressure
Static pressure becomes more important when air must move through restrictive paths, such as heatsinks, dense chassis paths, filters or tightly packed server environments.
Why This Matters in Replacement
